Claudia Walters is founder and president of Chelsea Investor Relations, an international public relations firm. Chelsea works with growing companies to increase their international business and to help raise money for their expansion. Claudia Walters was an advisory board member of Commonwealth Associates, an investment and merchant bank that raises money for medium sized companies.
She reported to the President and CEO of Commonwealth Associates. Claudia was responsible for all foreign investments, specifically in Latin America and Europe. She held this position from 2003 until 2010.
Claudia has also worked tirelessly for over two years to bring high quality, healthy, grass-fed beef from Argentina to the United States. Just last year, the US accepted its first shipment of this delicious Argentinian grass-fed beef after being banned for 18 years.
A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, she is fluent in five languages: Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and Italian, and is also proficient in German.
She has a JD summa cum laude and a PhD in International Law, both from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Claudia is a member of the Argentinean School of Lawyers.
Currently residing in New York City, she is a member of the Council of the Americas, which is the premier forum dedicated to education, debate, and dialogue in the Americas.
She is an active member with the Silver Shield Foundation of New York, a charity dedicated to helping the widows and children of police officers and firefighters who were killed in the line of duty.
