CUTTING edge Victorian company Lumorail is the true definition of a family affair.
Owned and operated by husband and wife team Garry and Emma Hannah, Lumorail recently expanded its three-person operation to four when their son Forrest joined the Somerville-based company.
Qualified Welder Ryan Jones makes up the foursome but Lumorail’s wider family of contacts also includes Sarina Russo Apprenticeships Industry Consultant Bridie Smolenaers.
“Forrest is the Lumorail’s first apprentice as they have expanded over their five years of operation and he looks forward to working in the family business for years to come,” Bridie said.
“He will commence his Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade at Chisholm Institute shortly where he can show off the skills he has already been lucky enough to learn on the job.
“Congratulations to the Hannah family.”
Lumorail is a market leader and it boasts Australia’s largest range of illuminated handrails and its standard product range and new bespoke illuminated handrail systems have been installed in countless projects across the country.
