Last week, Dwayne Oates brought his young son to Sarina Russo Job Access Preston with a simple yet powerful message for Team Leader Chanchal Kaur – thanks for ‘changing Daddy’s life’.
When Dwayne first visited Sarina Russo Job Access he had an aggressive demeanour, his self-esteem was low and as a result his mental health was very poor.
Chanchal said he was with a different provider, but I saw he really wanted to change his life, so I made him a promise earlier this year.
“I told him ‘I would walk with him every step of the way, but he needed to commit and walk the journey with me’.
“And to his credit – and my joy, he has been working fulltime since August 28 and loving it.”
Dwayne said Chanchal had plenty of reasons to dismiss him but didn’t, supporting him over months and months.
“I now have the perfect job regarding location, pay rate, position and hours, all thanks to the extraordinary woman Chanchal who works at Sarina Russo Preston,” Dwayne said.
STOP PRESS – Chanchal was overwhelmed when Dwayne delivered a beautiful orchid to the office to thank her for all her support
