The spotlight recently shone brightly on the North Coast region of Queensland as it celebrated the remarkable achievements and talents of its finest individuals and organisations in the field of vocational education and training. The 2023 Queensland Training Awards North Coast Region ceremony was a resounding success, bringing together a diverse array of professionals, students, and institutions to honor their dedication to excellence.

Sarina Russo Apprenticeships had the privilege of sponsoring the "Small Employer of the Year" Award, which recognises and celebrates outstanding small businesses that have demonstrated exceptional commitment and contributions to vocational education and training, fostering a skilled and competitive workforce.

Small Employer of the Year Winner

ePlants began in 1990 and has grown into a leading plant nursery on 30 acres in Noosa with 15 employees supplying plants and gardening products for domestic and industry needs. It is dedicated to training Queenslanders, offering school-based traineeships, work experience and apprenticeships to support its community. ePlants Nurseries is an environmentally friendly, family-run business whose qualified team of horticulturists have a genuine passion for plants and the environment.
